
Dimensions of Development, KADE's primary school resource handbook has recently been updated. This second edition of the handbook was launched at the Education Centre, Tralee by the Centre's Director, Caitríona Ní Chullota on October 19th 2010. Also pictured is KADE director and primary teacher Treasa Ní Eachthigheirn.
Learning activities for students from Junior Infant to Sixth classes are included in the handbook, in addition to helpful teachers' notes. The activities are aimed at fostering children's various intelligences, as well as introducing students to Development and interculturalism. Subjects embraced in the handbook's activities include mathematics, physical education and geography.

The handbook forms one output of the KADE Schools Outreach Programme, which aims to respond to the need for increased local awareness, understanding and skills in development and intercultural issues.
