October 24th sees the FAI host their Intercultural Club Open Day at St. Brendan's Park FC. The aim of the event is to encourage greater interaction between children of different ethnic backgrounds.

Everyone enjoys making friends and playing sports together. In a changing Ireland Football is one way in which we can all learn, share and enjoy sports. The Club Open Day is for anyone that is interested in either playing football for the first time or wanting to improve their skills and enjoy football in a friendly club environment. We hope that the open day will encourage greater interaction between children from different ethnic backgrounds.
Aims
The day is designed to deliver 2 hours of fun, in a skill based programme of enjoyable football activities, delivered by F.A.I. qualified coaches. It is for boys and girls aged between 6 yrs and 13 yrs.
Children that register for the Club Open Day will also receive a free football and a certificate of participation. The event is free to all participants.

All children that participate on the day will need appropriate clothing and footwear to participate in an outdoor event for a 2 hour period on an all weather facility.
