One World Week 2010: Peacing Together our World

One World Week is an opportunity for people from diverse backgrounds to come together to learn about global justice, to spread that learning and to use it to take action for justice locally and globally.

It is a week of youth-led awareness raising, education and action that takes place throughout Ireland during the third week in November every year. One World Week encourages young people to learn about local and global justice issues and take action to affect change. The week-long event is celebrated annually both at a national level in Ireland and across Europe.

One World Week is co-ordinated in Ireland by the National Youth Council of Ireland (NYCI), the representative body for national voluntary youth work organisations in Ireland.
