Held at Tralee International Resource Centre (TIRC), the Local & Global Links project sought to increase knowledge and understanding of international development issues.

KADE hosted EU partners from the Grundtvig-supported IDEAS project in Tralee in mid-February 2011.

KADE Coordinator Mary McGillicuddy and Director Seamus O'Donovan attended the IDEAS project mobility meeting on October 21-24 in Prague.

There was a long and fruitful discussion about the aims and products of the project. The discussion clarified the objectives for the process. Key things will be the inter-cultural dialogue and the European identity. It was agreed that the Moodle platform become a vehicle for sharing of good practice and setting out what kind of intercultural activities have worked out and how they have worked out.
