As part of our 3rd year programme, is it mandatory that we conduct a Marketing Research Project. All students have studied the theory of Marketing Principles in 2nd year and in the first semester of 3rd year. We have studied Research Problem Definition, Research Design, Data Collection Method Selection, Sampling, Fieldwork Procedures, Data Analysis and Reporting as part of the Marketing Research Theory module. For the purpose of the research project, us students are organised into teams (typically composed of three to five students) and each team undertakes a research project to be completed during the second semester of the academic year. We are supervised by an academic staff member and meet with their supervisor once a week and ask any questions we may have in relation to the project here. The meetings are good as you are also getting feedback on the work you have done for the project to date.
