Waterford One World Centre 's New Directions is a resource publication for primary level teachers; it is published three times per year, once per term, and is available for download in PDF format.

In 2007, Dóchas members adopted a Code of Conduct on Images and Messages. The purpose of this Code is to provide a framework which organisations can refer to when designing and implementing their public communication strategy. KADE has adopted the Code, and it informs all of our communications.

‘A small world’, ‘the Global Village’ and other such terms have been used to describe the global community the world has fast become. Technological advancements such as the Internet have made global communication faster and easier. Cheap travel has turned once imagined far off places a matter of a few hours on air, jetlag and realised dreams. All this has made the teaching and learning about global/ development issues a less daunting and more exciting task.
