Visions of Africa at Mary Immaculate College

Mr. Peter Power, T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Foreign Affairs with responsibility for Overseas Development Aid  officially opened the KADE photographic exhibition, ‘Visions of Africa’ in Mary Immaculate College, Limerick on Thursday, February 5 at 7:00 p.m. Mary Immaculate College of Education President Peadar Cremin invited KADE to display the exhibit in the college.

The exhibition received Irish Aid ‘Africa Day’ grant funding in 2008, the inaugural year of this annual event. KADE invited amateur and professional photographers to submit positive images of life in the diverse continent and from the submitted photos 33 impressive images were selected for the exhibition.
